My Auto went through those areas which I had seen a lot of times through train/bus, but only to pity how the people stay there and the children study.I got down the rickshaw to see a few kids playing around the school gate during the recess time. I was finally at the Jafari English High School, that one place I was longing to be since the time I was told I would volunteer there. When I approached the children to find the way into the school, I was almost welcomed by one of them cutely, and he led me to the third floor - a very very small room,The staff room. It was small but very valuable as it had those people who had the enthusiasm to teach these kids. While thousands of thoughts running in my mind, I was overwhelmed seeing the little kids run around and a few of them turning up to me to ask me my name and where I lived. I was happy that they were happy to meet me. It was my first day of volunteering and I was just asked to invigilate their tests in their last few periods. It was an uncontrollable class, they jumped, danced, kicked each others asses, but for once I did not feel like scolding them and just laughed at their pranks. But truly,it was extremely fun to help these kids with their small small doubts, keep them sitting on their bench while ten others would go outside the class to see their friends. God. Amidst all the chaos, a few kids made my day by gifting me a flower which they made with a rough paper nicely painted-"didi, aapke liye". I felt something which I had never felt before. Sadly the school timings had to end, which I never wanted, but the kids bid a goodbye with a high five, which was the best part. I had to come back home with a smile till the time I would see them again.
